Chlorinating a well, jumping, and combating a stomach bug.

This morning we decided to chlorinate our well to remove the stinky feet, egg smell that was creeping up out of the pipes. While it is a fairly simple job, it does require that we not abstain from using the water for 24 hours. So, I packed up the kids and headed off to Jump N Play, an indoor bounce house facility (the only place I could think of where kids can get out pent up energy, stay all day, and frequently use their bathrooms). In short, the kids played until they couldn't walk anymore- FYI This takes about 5 hours of non-stop bouncing and climbing. At the present, this is the scene in my house . . .

Unfortunately, Nisha has two responses to extreme fatigue- heavy sleeping or irrational crying and yelling. Tonight, the latter would be the case :( Hopefully, she will pass out soon.

Another unfortunate circumstance has been the development of a stomach bug. One of the little ones spontaneously began having serious stomach issues which do not warrant refraining from potty use. Not such a good day to chlorinate the well.

Sounds like the kids had fun at the jumping place!! Sorry to hear about the stomach bug. I hope it clears up soon...

We had to have our well chlorinated twice a few years back (bacteria) and I can say NOT fun! It wrecked a few of my towels, and my eczema went crazy since each time it took a good couple weeks for all the chlorine to work its way out.

Hope the stomach bug doesn't work its rounds there--we only had one escapee at this house. :-(
